Most of the calls we take trace back to the age of the door, not the weather, though the weather doesn't help. We'll tell you straight when a repair isn't worth doing. We won't sell you a repair just to avoid saying that.
We don't carry every part on the truck for every era of door. If your opener is an older model tied to a specific manufacturer's board, there can be a wait on that part. We'll tell you up front if that's the case instead of guessing at an install date.
